Compression ratios of 2:1 to 3:1 are common for text files. An entire directory structure can be packed into a zip archive with a single command. The zip program puts one or more compressed files into a single zip archive, along with information about the files (name, path, date, time of last modification, protection, and check information to verify file integrity). If you have limited bandwidth between two servers and want to transfer the files faster, then zip the files and transfer.zip is available in many operating systems like Unix, Linux, windows, etc. zip is used to compress the files to reduce file size and also used as a file package utility.Unzip, on the other hand, is a program that allows you to decompress files and directories. File and folder compression allows for quicker and more reliable file and folder transfer, storage, and email. Zip is a command-line compression utility for files and directories. When my children were of the right age, my pediatrician told us to start them on vitamin drops until age 2 (when we could switch to chewables).Īll well and good. True It works, but the smell/taste is hard to get over. I would have liked to have continued with the supplements, but she was getting to old to force feed them to her on a daily basis. I used it until she was just over a year old. It also definitely made a difference in her eating and colic habits, as well as her weight gain. They provide 100 percent of the recommended iron she needed. Thankfully, she did keep it down and did not gag it back up again. She protested and cried everytime I administered he drops to her, which made it very nerve racking. I could tell even from the smell from the dropper when I first gave it to her how bad they must taste, and felt a little bad! I tried a little drop myself and yes, it was that bad. She just was not gaining weight properly and at the speed she should have. I always had trouble feeding her, and she always had very bad colic. My daughter's pediatrician advised me to start using them when she was a few months old and still nursing. True Very beneficial but wish it tasted better. The prune juice did the trick so I could continue mixing the drops into her bottle. My doctor just told me to give her about an ounce or two of prune juice and it would relieve the constipation. My daughter did get constipated from the iron though. My daughter mainly needed the iron, but I felt better knowing she was getting all the vitamins contained in these drops also. He recommended these drops so these are what I bought. My doctor told me my daughter was anemic when I took her in for her wellness check up. But when you think about it, a 3 month old baby hasn't been exposed to any tastes other than formula, which is pretty nasty also. The taste is absolutely horrible! They are supposed to be fruit flavored, but I didn't taste any hint of fruit flavor at all. The reason I gave these Enfamil Poly-Vi-Sol Multivitamin Supplement Drops with Iron an eight and not a ten is because I tasted them before mixing them in with my daughter's bottle. So even though I don't like it, if your pediatrician recommends it I definitely think it should be used. And now I am using it with my son, because even though it seems disgusting, I am confident that it is what's best. But I continued to use it until I got her eating foods. She started to spit it out and it made her cry and gag. And sure enough my baby didn't like it at all. This product does not smell good at all! It almost made me feel guilty giving it to my baby, because I couldn't help but wonder how bad it would taste based on the smell. And on top of that the smell made me want to throw up. It is hard to get just the right amount of the liquid in the dropper. The process of getting the correct drop dosage is not easy. But I went ahead and bought it and when I got home I got it ready to give to my child. I think this product is very expensive, especially when you factor it in with all of the other expenses that come along with babies. I was definitely blown away by the price right away. So I went to the store and picked up this product. At first I would mix it up in my daughter's milk so she would not taste it, or at the very least if she did taste it the flavor wouldn't be as strong but I realized that when doing that she still wasn't getting all of the vitamins she needed since at times she wouldn't finish the bottle or the food I was feeding her.Īfter a couple months of exclusively breastfeeding my children, their pediatrician recommended that I start giving them Poly-Vi-Sol to make sure that they get all of their necessary nutrients for healthy growth, especially vitamin D. Although the flavor is terrible and Poly vi sol stinks I've learned a technique of sticking the dropper in the side of my daughter's cheek that way she swallows the liquid automatically without spitting it out. I must say I am very happy with these vitamins because I am happy knowing that on days my daughter just doesn't have an appetite that she is still getting some of the vitamins she is missing out on from her food. Her pediatrician was worried that because she wasn't drinking enough milk, nor was she eating her baby food like she should have been so she suggested Enfamil Poly-vi-sol. My daughter, who was born premature, is very underweight for her age and I have had issues with getting her to eat the amount of food she should. |
